Seven workers killed as boulder falls at Ramanagara quarry

Seven workers died and at least six were injured when loose boulders collapsed on labourers at Udayshankar Crushers in Madapattana village, Ramanagara district, south of Bengaluru, on July 2, 2026. Around 20 workers were at the site when the rockfall occurred around 5 am. Six injured were taken to RR Hospital on Mysuru Road and two remain in critical condition.
