CEA asks for E10 to return beside E20

Chief Economic Adviser V. Anantha Nageswaran wrote that restoring E10 alongside E20 would calm most public concern. Since 1 April, E20 has been the only petrol variant at pumps nationwide. He co-wrote the column with consultant Akash Poojari and marked the views as personal. Last month the government said it had no proposal to bring back E0 or E10.
