Karnataka FDA inspects Zomato Bengaluru warehouse

A day after sealing a Zepto warehouse in Bengaluru over alleged unhygienic conditions, the Karnataka Food Safety and Drug Administration began inspecting Zomato's Hyperpure facility on Bannerghatta Road on Wednesday. Officials had earlier flagged trash, filth, misbranding and labelling lapses at Zepto and recommended a case. Zepto said it was cooperating. Outcome of the Zomato inspection was not yet stated.
