Tamil Nadu Industries Minister Keerthana is set to meet HD Hyundai officials and Guidance Tamil Nadu in Chennai on Wednesday. Talks cover the firm's proposed Thoothukudi shipyard after earlier MoUs and a recent site visit. Sources earlier put the possible investment around $2 billion. The Centre plans five shipbuilding clusters, with Thoothukudi called most advanced.
