Vadodara bullet train station sits above Platform 7

Vadodara's bullet train station is being built above Platform number 7 of the existing railway station. NHSRCL said three foot over bridges will link high-speed rail with Western Railway, the GSRTC bus depot, Alkapuri and parking. The longest bridge is 534 metres and will include travelators. The design draws on the banyan tree associated with the city.
