Bangladesh on Tuesday received India's agrément for Foreign Secretary Asad Alam Siam to become the next High Commissioner to India. He will take charge in New Delhi in the coming weeks, succeeding Riaz Hamidullah. The appointment comes as New Delhi and Dhaka discuss a possible India visit by Prime Minister Tarique Rahman sometime in November.
