Karnataka asks FSSAI to suspend 3 e-commerce food licences

Karnataka's Food Safety and Drug Administration has asked the central FSSAI to suspend the food licences of Amazon, Swiggy Instamart and BigBasket. The platforms sold datura fruits and seeds as food, Health Minister U.T. Khader said Wednesday. The state suspended the licences itself earlier. BigBasket said it stopped sales; Amazon did not reply at Monday's hearing.
