Google Trends data through end-August 2026 show searches in India for "how to make matcha" rose 1,300 percent over the past year. Searches for "matcha" and "what is matcha" rose 50 percent. Delhi led "matcha near me" queries, followed by Goa, Chandigarh and Karnataka. Searches for "matcha kit" doubled, while "mango matcha" rose 200 percent and "strawberry matcha" 400 percent.
