Pune key roads shut till July 11 for annual Palkhi procession

Pune Police will close major roads including Alandi Road, Lakshmi Road, Shivaji Road and Ganeshkhind Road from July 9 to July 11 as lakhs of Warkaris arrive for Sant Dnyaneshwar and Sant Tukaram Palkhis, News18 reported. Heavy and oversized vehicles are barred from entering the city during the three-day traffic plan for the annual pilgrimage.
