Bengaluru police arrest wife and friend in double killing

Bengaluru police on 18 August 2026 arrested Harini and Vinay Kumar in the deaths of her husband Abhinandan, 35, and their four-year-old son at home in Chikkabanavara. Deputy commissioner D K Nagesh said they were killed after returning from a relative's house on Sunday night. Harini had called helpline 112 on Monday, saying they were unresponsive. She later confessed.
