13 die in Sri Lanka nursing home fire

Thirteen people died after a fire at an unregistered nursing home in Galpatha, western Sri Lanka. A staff member said one resident who died had been chained, while another chained resident was untied and saved. Police said 71 people were staying at the home when the fire broke out.
