New Zealand says fifty seven percent exports tariff free to India

New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon said on July 9 that 57 percent of Wellington's exports to India will be tariff-free from day one under the April 2026 free trade agreement, Hindustan Times reported. The announcement came ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's July 10-11 state visit to Auckland, the first by an Indian premier in nearly four decades.
