SSC sets CGL Tier 1 dates for 12,256 posts

The Staff Selection Commission will hold CGL 2026 Tier 1 exams from September 30 to October 30, 2026, in computer-based mode. The ssc.gov.in notice covers about 12,256 tentative Group B and Group C vacancies. The paper has 100 objective questions for 200 marks across four 25-question sections. Each section gets 15 minutes, with 0.50 marks cut per wrong answer.
