Jharkhand extends SIR claims deadline to September 30

Jharkhand extended SIR claims and objections to September 30, the second final extension, the CEO office said Tuesday. An August 5 draft roll excluded 43,61,987 names as absent, shifted, dead or duplicate. K Ravi Kumar said voters may file Forms 6, 7 and 8 via ECINET or booth officers. Form 7 does not auto-delete names.
