EC to verify CNR Rao at home over SIR mismatch

Election Commission officials will visit 92-year-old Bharat Ratna scientist C N R Rao at his Bengaluru home for Special Intensive Revision verification. A notice cited a self-name mismatch. The current roll showed "Proff C N R Rao" against "Prof C N R Rao" on the 2002 roll. An official said Rao need not appear at the Malleshwaram hearing centre.
