NIA names Hafiz Saeed mastermind in Pahalgam attack

The National Investigation Agency on July 6, 2026, filed a supplementary chargesheet naming Lashkar-e-Taiba founder Hafiz Saeed as mastermind of the April 22, 2025 Pahalgam terror attack that killed 26 civilians including 25 tourists. The chargesheet was filed before the Special NIA Court in Jammu. Saeed is accused as LeT chief and head of proxy outfit The Resistance Front.
