Mint finds 3,500 AI-titled jobs at 5 large IT firms

Large Indian IT firms are rebranding conventional software and analytics roles with AI labels rather than creating wholly new jobs, Mint reported citing Bernstein research. A Mint review of five employers found at least 3,500 openings with AI-related titles, including about 1,340 at Infosys and 1,376 at HCLTech. Those five firms employ 1.5 million of India's 5.95 million IT executives.
