Greater Hyderabad has 43 lakh names in ASDD list

Greater Hyderabad accounts for 43 lakh of Telangana's 73.3 lakh ASDD electors, 58.6 percent statewide, despite 33.8 percent of the electorate. CEO C. Sudarshan Reddy said the three metro districts drove most of the cut to the 17 August draft. Hyderabad district placed 19.4 lakh names, 40.9 percent of its earlier electorate, in that category.

What It Means For You
- If your name is in Telangana's ASDD pool, it is not on the draft roll published on 17 August 2026.
- Anyone in Hyderabad district among the 19.41 lakh ASDD electors must submit Form 6 during claims if they want to return.
- If your enumeration form was digitised but not mapped to 2002 rolls, you may receive a notice even while remaining on the draft.
