Anthropic warns AI is changing cyberattacks

Anthropic analysed 832 accounts banned for malicious cyber activity between March 2025 and March 2026 and found that attackers are using AI in more dangerous ways. The company said 67.3% of banned accounts used AI for attack preparation, while more actors are now using AI after gaining access to systems.
