The Supreme Court raised compensation for a woman blinded in a 2011 road accident from Rs 2.94 crore to Rs 3.77 crore. Justices S.V.N. Bhatti and N.V. Anjaria treated her functional disability as 100 percent. She was 35 and worked at IBM Daksh in Gurugram when the crash happened. Interest was set at 7.5 percent.
