IPS officer's mother found dead; jewellery reported missing

Indravati, mother of Lucknow-posted IPS officer Ashutosh Mishra, was found unresponsive on a cot at her home in Rudha Dhamrua, Ambedkar Nagar, around 9 am on 16 August. She was 94, Indian Express said, and had lived alone after her husband's death. A domestic worker found the main door locked from outside. Neighbours then called the family.
