4 districts hold 85% of Uttarakhand deletion requests

Four Uttarakhand districts account for more than 85% of the state's 1,30,382 Form-7 deletion requests, data show. Udham Singh Nagar leads with 43,878 applications, followed by Haridwar, Dehradun and Nainital. The disposal period, which began July 14, has been extended to September 28. Chief Electoral Officer BVRC Purushottam announced the extension on Monday addressing the media.
