5 bodies recovered after Nilambur flash flood

Five bodies were recovered from the Kottappuzha river near Pookkottumpadam in Nilambur, Malappuram, after a flash flood swept visitors on Sunday evening. Three were found on Sunday night and two more on Monday morning as Fire and Rescue Services and NDRF teams resumed the search. Sajitha, a T.K. Colony resident, remained missing. The water rose suddenly around 5 p.m.
