Prudential to sell Rs 3,190 crore ICICI Prudential AMC stake

Prudential Corporation Holdings will sell up to 9.89 million shares in ICICI Prudential Asset Management on August 27. The stake is worth about 3,190 crore rupees, the companies said Wednesday. The sale cuts promoter holding from 87.6 percent to 85.6 percent. That moves the fund manager towards the 15 percent public float required within five years of listing.
