Maharashtra ministers call for DJ-free festivals citing health risks

Maharashtra Minister of State for Health Meghana Bordikar and Guardian Minister Sanjay Shirsat urged organisers to avoid DJ sound systems during festivals. Bordikar said her cousin died because of a DJ system last year. Shirsat said police will fine offenders and seize vehicles carrying DJ equipment.
