Cuddalore Collector reviews Rs 57 crore flood works

Cuddalore Collector Sibi Adhithya Senthil Kumar inspected flood mitigation works on September 5, The Hindu reported. He reviewed a Rs 57-crore project strengthening Thenpennaiar banks over 2,900 metres with a 1,270-metre retaining wall. A Rs 14.50-crore flood wall toward the Collectorate is about 95 percent complete. Officials were told to finish before the Northeast monsoon.
