ED searches ten sites linked to Jauhar University trust

On 19 August 2026, the Enforcement Directorate searched 10 premises linked to the Maulana Mohammad Ali Jauhar Trust and University of Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan. Teams covered Rampur, Saharanpur and Delhi's Jamia Nagar under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act. Officials said they were tracing alleged diversion of government contract funds into trust assets. Khan is in Rampur jail.
