AAP leader Gurpreet Gopi shot dead in Ferozepur

AAP leader Gurpreet Singh alias Gopi, 45, was shot dead by four armed men in Mamdot near Ferozepur on Saturday evening. Police said the attackers fired at Gopi and Harpreet alias Happy, 22, who were on a motorcycle. SSP Bhupinder Singh linked the killing to enmity over recent municipal elections. Police said the accused have been identified.
