Lightning kills 1, injures 24 at Gurupadgiri Hill in Gaya

Lightning killed one devotee and injured 24 people, four critically, at Gurupadgiri Hill in Bihar's Gaya district on Saturday evening, police said. More than 3,000 devotees had gathered for Raksha Bandhan when storms hit the hilltop temple. Vikas Kumar alias Niwas, 24, of Chhatisa village, died. Four critically injured patients were referred to Magadh Medical College in Gaya.
