Coimbatore exporters welcome India-UK trade deal implementation

Exporters in Coimbatore welcomed the India-UK Comprehensive Economic Trade Agreement that commenced on July 15. Commerce Secretary Rajesh Agrawal presented a Certificate of Origin to AEPC chairman A. Sakthivel at a flag-off ceremony at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi. UK High Commissioner Lindy Cameron attended. FIEO said the deal benefits MSMEs, farmers, artisans and labour-intensive industries.
