Kolkata Police arrested Swarup Biswas, brother of former West Bengal minister Aroop Biswas, over extortion allegations involving technicians in the Bengali film industry. Police acted on a complaint by a female make-up artist who alleged threats, loss of work and extortion of several lakh rupees, NDTV reported.
