IMD warns of heavy rain across eastern India

IMD on Tuesday forecast isolated heavy rain over East India for three to four days. Jharkhand may see widespread rain from September 9 to 11. Odisha may from September 10 to 12, with very heavy rain possible on September 10. Gusty winds may reach 60 kilometres per hour in southern states. Rainfall to September 7 was 14 percent below normal.
