Centre denies Telangana CM political clearance for US leg

On 21 August 2026, Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy's office said the Ministry of External Affairs denied political clearance for the United States leg of his TelanganaRising tour. The CMO quoted the line that clearance from political angle is denied. Reddy, already in London, will fly back to Hyderabad on 23 August instead of going to Boston.
