Top court seeks status report on temple fund probe

The Supreme Court on Monday directed the newly reconstituted Special Investigation Team probing the Ayodhya Ram Mandir donation theft case to submit a status report. Uttar Pradesh's Solicitor General told the court the SIT is now headed by Inspector General Kiran S, along with a Deputy Inspector General, an Inspector General rank officer and a Superintendent of Police.
