Rijiju calls persecution claims propaganda at Utsav

Union Minority Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju told a Reforms Utsav event at Bharat Mandapam on June 4 that minorities enjoy full freedom and persecution allegations are opposition propaganda. He challenged critics to cite anyone who left India over religious identity. The Hindu reported the ministry budget rose from Rs 1,949 crore in 2014 to Rs 4,115 crore now.
