Modi gifts Putin Russian Thirukkural translation

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday gave Russian President Vladimir Putin a Russian translation of the Thirukkural in Delhi. The classical Tamil work is by Thiruvalluvar. Modi posted that it carries Thiruvalluvar’s wisdom across languages and borders. The Bharat Mandapam meeting came a day before India hosts the BRICS Summit on September 12 and 13.
