22 minors molested at Maharashtra ashram school, cook held

Police arrested Ganpat Gavli, a helper at Temba ashram school in Shahapur, Thane, on August 26 for allegedly molesting 22 minor female students. A 10th-grade student complained on August 24. Twenty-one other girls reported indecent behaviour during the investigation. Gavli was on bail from a 2024 POCSO case at another ashram when he joined Shahapur.
