Israel and Lebanon agree to renew fragile ceasefire

Israel and Lebanon said Wednesday they agreed to renew a ceasefire after a fourth round of U.S.-mediated talks in Washington. A joint statement said the truce depends on a complete halt to Hezbollah fire and evacuation of operatives south of the Litani River. Pilot security zones would be controlled by the Lebanese Armed Forces.
