Belagavi marks Kargil Vijay Diwas with wreath ceremony

Officers and personnel of the Maratha Light Infantry Regimental Centre held a wreath-laying ceremony at the War Memorial in Belagavi on Sunday to mark Kargil Vijay Diwas. Brigadier Girish Upadhya led tributes to soldiers who died in the 1999 Kargil War. In Davangere, MP Prabha Mallikarjun released a Kannada translation of a book on the conflict the same day.
