Former Kerala chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan alleged that Union Home Minister Amit Shah's latest remarks on demographic changes in border states were intended to justify the CAA and the proposed NRC, New Indian Express reported. Vijayan said a Centre committee on demographic changes was aimed at dividing people across Assam state, West Bengal and Bihar.
