SC hears NHAI plea on Rs 7,000 crore cattle order

The Supreme Court on Monday agreed to form a special bench on an NHAI plea against orders to build stray cattle shelters nationwide. Solicitor General Tushar Mehta said the direction would cost about Rs 7,000 crore. He said the work belongs to local district administrations. Chief Justice Surya Kant said the court would constitute the bench.
