Supreme Court asks CBSE to weigh 2027 language deferral

The Supreme Court asked CBSE to consider deferring its three-language policy for Class 6 to the 2027 academic session. Additional Solicitor General Aishwarya Bhati said the board would consider the suggestion. Justice Joymalya Bagchi said current Class 6 students who want three languages this year could still be allowed. The bench left rights of parties intact.
