4 Uttarakhand districts account for 85% of Form-7s

Over 85 percent of 1,30,382 Form-7 voter deletion applications in Uttarakhand came from four plains districts during the SIR claims-and-objections period, The Indian Express reported. Udham Singh Nagar filed 43,878, Haridwar 29,369, Dehradun 19,402 and Nainital 18,301. BJP minister Khajan Dass cited migration. Congress leader Suryakant Dhasama alleged the poll panel acted for the BJP.
