Delhi HC defers Sonam Wangchuk force-feeding plea to July 16

The Delhi High Court on July 15 deferred a plea seeking force-feeding of activist Sonam Wangchuk, whose 18-day hunger strike at Jantar Mantar has left him 8.5 kg lighter. Petitioner Rakesh Kumar Saini said Wangchuk, 59, may not survive two more days. The bench will hear the matter on July 16 after no government counsel appeared in court.
