Bombay HC sets aside Bharti Hexacom spectrum demand

Bharti Hexacom received relief after the Bombay High Court set aside a Rs 473.7 crore one-time spectrum charge demand raised by the Department of Telecommunications. The relief formed part of a wider judgment favouring Bharti Airtel and Vodafone Idea against retrospective charges imposed on telecom operators for spectrum holdings above 6.2 MHz.
