Ponting says fewer ODIs inevitable as T20s grow

Ricky Ponting told PTI fewer 50-over matches are inevitable as T20 franchises expand worldwide, though he is not a huge fan. Ponting scored 13,704 runs in 375 ODIs with 30 centuries. Since January 2021 India played 82 ODIs versus 126 T20Is. England and Australia played 88 T20Is each versus 68 and 64 ODIs in the same period.
