Manipur suspends constable over 6 Naga abductions

Manipur police suspended a serving Kuki constable and ordered a departmental enquiry over his alleged role in abducting six Naga men later found murdered. The September 8 order came from the Bishnupur district SP. The men were taken on May 13, 2026. Bodies were recovered in Kangpokpi on June 10. The NIA is probing the case.
