BJP replaces Bankipur candidate amid fodder scam link

The BJP on Friday replaced Bankipur bypoll candidate Abhishek Bunty with Neeraj Kumar Sinha a day after Bunty filed his nomination papers, NDTV reported. Sources said Bunty's father was convicted in the fodder scam with Lalu Prasad Yadav, and the party feared Prashant Kishor would raise the issue. Sinha will contest against the Jan Suraaj founder.
