Ganga at Gandhi Ghat rises 1 cm above flood mark

The Ganga at Gandhi Ghat in Bihar rose 10 cm on Saturday morning and stood 1 cm above the highest flood level, PTI reported. The Burhi Gandak, Kosi and Bagmati also rose after heavy rain in Jharkhand and Nepal. Officials said no casualty has been reported so far. Low-lying areas in Patna, Bhojpur, Vaishali, Lakhisarai and Bhagalpur face flood threat.
