Whatfix names co-founder Vara Kumar as CEO

Whatfix appointed co-founder Vara Kumar as chief executive officer with immediate effect after co-founder Khadim Batti's death last week. The pair founded the in-app guidance software firm in 2014. Kumar has led product and research strategy. The company said operations continued without disruption under board and executive oversight. Clients include Shell, Schneider Electric, Mercedes-Benz, Heineken and UPS Supply Chain Solutions.
